Farewell and Godspeed to Michael Zier!
May 19, 2014 was Michael Zier’s last day as the retreat coordinator at the Center for Environmental Transformation. Michael began in early September 2012 and during his tenure with CFET he put his talents to work in many areas. He increased our retreat participation numbers by over 100%. He made contacts with a range of different institutions, some brought groups on retreat and others are preparing to do so. Michael’s wizardry with all things digital led to a beautiful overall re-design of our website, the movement to the new version of the monthly e-blast, increased use of Facebook and Twitter and a newly designed logo and emerging items with that logo on it, for sale to our community of supporters. It is hard to imagine where we would be today without Michael’s energy, his passion and his expertise. He was, and will continue to be, a blessing to CFET!
He is not going far; he lives in the neighborhood. And he will continue to volunteer with the Center insofar as he has time to do so. He is moving on to new ventures, but all centered around his beloved Camden. He would love to hear from you, to stay connected, and to share a cup of tea.
Thank you, Michael. You are a treasure, and shared yourself with all of us, a blessing indeed.
