On October 4, 2014 the Center for Environmental Transformation will host its annual fundraiser, The Thomas Berry Lecture.  This year CFET welcomes environmental activist and lawyer, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.  Mr. Kennedy has spent his life fighting for the environment where it is under attack.    He is the president of Waterkeeper Alliance and the chief prosecuting attorney for Riverkeeper.  Visit his website.  On the 4th of October his talk will be entitled: Our Environmental Destiny.  Mark your calendars.  Tickets will be available on August 15th.  The talk will be held at Sacred Heart Church, on the corner of S. Broadway & Ferry Ave., in Camden, NJ.  A reception will follow at the Michael J. Doyle Fieldhouse.  All proceeds from the sale of tickets will support the ongoing programming of CFET.  Tickets are $50 each, and will go on sale August 15th.  They can be purchased through www.brownpapertickets.com or by contacting us. For  students under 21, with a valid ID, tickets are $20.  There are scholarship tickets available for Camden residents.  Please be in touch with us for more information on that.

At the reception, Mr. Kennedy’s books and documentary films will be available for sale and for his signature.
