Growing over 2,000 pounds of fresh chemical-free fruits and vegetables, thousands of seedlings, and hundreds of native plants these gardens serve as community gathering spaces, outdoor classrooms, and an urban connection to the natural world.

Garden SEEDS

A program for children Pre-K-8th grade, Garden SEEDS facilitates the hands on exploration of food and where it comes from. Participants explore everything from soil composition and the plant life cycle to harvesting techniques. Children also engage in simple nutrition and cooking lessons, giving them a chance to taste the fruits of their labor. SEEDS runs both on-site at CFET and in local schools.

Farmer's Market

Located just off the highly accessible intersection of Ferry Avenue and Broadway (1729 Ferry Ave), our weekly Farmer's Market is open Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30 pm and runs from July 6th October 26th. We accept cash, SNAP, debit, and credit at the market. Proceeds support our youth and education programs!
