  • 7th Annual Thomas Berry Lecture

Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 3PM at Sacred Heart Church in South Camden for a stimulating call to action by Mark Elizabeth Clark, SSJ, director of the Earth Center at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, and one of only 25 Ambassadors for the Catholic Climate Covenant. The title of her talk is "One Earth, One Family Together: Practical Ways to Respond to Earth's Cry." One week after Pope Francis visits our area, and invites us to care for the earth, Sr. Clark will provide us very specific and powerful ways to do just that. Join us. It's free to attend, but will cost a bit to leave!

Urban Gardening

Urban Gardening

CFET manages about one acre of growing space at five locations in Waterfront South. Growing over 2,000 pounds of fresh chemical-free fruits and vegetables, thousands of seedlings, and hundreds of native plants these gardens serve as community gathering spaces, outdoor classrooms, and an urban connection to the natural world.

Environmental Retreats

Environmental Retreats

Springing from a unique combination of service, education, reflection, and relationship building, our environmental retreats are the perfect opportunity for groups to participate in the daily work and life of CFET. Come work, learn, and stay at our Center for a chance to experience the progressive, environmental change occurring daily in our neighborhood.

Eco Interns
