Our guest this year is Rabbi Arthur Waskow, founder and director of the Shalom Center in Philadelphia. We hope this will be a gathering of interfaith groups, community organizations and schools that will commit themselves to action on behalf of Earth. Programs

Urban Gardening

Urban Gardening

CFET manages about one acre of growing space at five locations in Waterfront South. Growing over 2,000 pounds of fresh chemical-free fruits and vegetables, thousands of seedlings, and hundreds of native plants these gardens serve as community gathering spaces, outdoor classrooms, and an urban connection to the natural world.

Environmental Retreats

Environmental Retreats

Springing from a unique combination of service, education, reflection, and relationship building, our environmental retreats are the perfect opportunity for groups to participate in the daily work and life of CFET. Come work, learn, and stay at our Center for a chance to experience the progressive, environmental change occurring daily in our neighborhood.

Eco Interns

Eco Interns

Eco Interns is an intensive job-training program for youth ages 14-19, which uses urban gardening, cooking, and entrepreneurship as a vehicle to develop leadership capabilities among youth. If you're a young person looking for employment in Camden please read more and contact us with any questions!
